WALKING PATH & PRAYER STATIONS

Walking And Talking With GOD

George Mueller, a pastor, author, and missionary from the 19th century, often took walks in the fields and forests of England to listen to our Lord. He said he found it easy ~ to "walk and talk with God". He was a man of great faith in prayer - often trusting God for funds to operate several orphanages, churches, and schools - at the same time. He would never make his needs known, but always trusting God to meet all his needs.
We believe there are others who also enjoy walking and talking with God.
Oaks Manor offers a variety of prayer stations along a beautiful onemile path that skirts the outer perimeter of the grounds. Shorter paths crisscross the long path to allow a traveler to choose the distance they desire. The paths are easy to walk or jog.
Stop at one of the eight (8) prayer stations and spend time with God. They are conveniently located on one of several paths. Prayer stations range from a gazebo to simple benches or swings.
