At Oaks Manor, the Lord
our God will be praised from the rising of the sun to the
going down of the same.
The Purpose
Our purpose will be to
provide a beautiful, restful, premier conference and retreat
center where Christians will be encouraged to grow in their
relationship with each other and with their Lord, Jesus Christ.
The Vision
- To develop a premier conference and retreat
center on Oaks Manor's thirty-eight acres of beautiful, rolling
hills, located approximately thirteen miles north of Fort
Smith, Arkansas, on State Highway 282.
- To offer a unique setting
where Christians can attend conferences to
build relationships, to gain encouragement,
and to rest and relax.
- To create a beautiful setting
with tastefully decorated lodges and cabins
and grounds with shade trees and fragrant
gardens.
- To provide a place of refuge
from a busy and demanding world where adults
who "wait upon the Lord shall renew their
strength; they shall mount up with wings
as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary;
and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah
40:31 (KJV)
- To offer quiet prayer stations
at the end of shady paths for meditation
and communion with the Heavenly Father.
- To provide quality training
in small group settings where Christians
can develop skills and confidence needed
to make a difference in their world.
